High Accuracy – Low Maintenance

The GBI tilt tray accurately sorts a wide variety of items, including irregularly shaped packages and lightweight polybags.  They are best suited for products ranging from small to medium sized and from lightweight  to  25 lbs/11 kg. The  system is modular, configurable as an in-line (straight) or oval (racetrack) with multiple turns and elevation changes and is available with a wide range of custom features and options to accommodate  specific requirements and minimize down time for maintenance.

What is a Tilt-Tray Sorter?

A Tilt-Tray Sorter is a continuous-loop sortation conveyor that uses a technique of tilting a tray at a chute to slide an object into a chute.

Items are loaded on to trays individually and their sort destination is determined in advance. The items are loaded onto the passing trays at the front end of the sorter and travel towards a series of destinations down the line. Destination may be attached on one or both sides of the sorter.

As the tray with an item approaches its destination the tray is tilted to slide the object into the chute. The empty tray then returns to the load section before it is loaded again with a new object.

A Micro Tilt-Tray Sorter is a Tilt-Tray Sorter than has been specifically designed to carry lightweight items.

Mid-Capacity Tilt-Tray Sorter

A Mid-Capacity Tilt-Tray Sorter is a Tilt-Tray Sorter that has the capacity to sort heavier objects than the Micro-Tilt Tray Sorter.
