Custom Software and Systems Integration - User Friendly Graphical Interface

User friendly graphical screens and controls provide intelligent and informative messages on the state of the sort. Built in safeguards report or intervene to protect the integrity of the sort or the maintenance of the equipment using default values or user defined ones. GBI also provides the communications link to your existing warehouse management system tying in all aspects of the production or distribution process. For example, a completed order can be flagged for invoice and packing slip generation, and so on.

Tote Transfer

The purpose of the tote transfer is to transfer the data associated with the product as the product is moved from the sorter to the tote or shipping carton.

The tote transfer is initiated when a quantity or cube limit is reached at the chute or for the order. The sort destination is then suspended until a release is received by the sorter computer from the Host indicating that the transfer has been completed.

Upon receiving the cube or quantity limit file or other notification from the sorter server, the Host will require an operator to scan the chute identifier and the tote or shipping carton to indicate the new association of the product accumulated by the chute to the tote or shipping carton. Immediately upon receiving this indication the Host will send a socket message to the sorter releasing the chute (un-suspending the chute) allowing it to receive more product until the limit is reached again.

Other Features
